Do you want the good news or bad news? Ok, the good news, life comes with a playbook. The bad news, you probably don’t use it. Like most of my readers, you use conventional wisdom and your life experiences to establish a worldview. We all do. However, the books you read and the people you spend time with can radically change your life. It did mine.

If you are going to read something, read something that has stood the test of time. Read things that are 400+ years old. Dr. Steven B. Sample, Former President of USC

Does This Sound Like You?

  • Why do bad things happen to good people? Life is just not fair.
  • What is the meaning of life - work, sleep, eat, and make money?
  • I want inner peace, but can't seem to get it.
  • I don’t feel organized religion can't be trusted.

Well, you’re not alone. All of us have felt this way.

But, what if…

A biblical worldview with genuine faith would result in a better life. I am not promising an easier life, but certainly a more rewarding and fulfilling life. A worldview that does not conform to the patterns of this world, but transforms you from the inside out. (Romans 12:3)

I Understand How You Feel

I know what it feels like to be disappointed by circumstances in life. Planning for a positive outcome, but experience a negative outcome. Suffering causes us to either get bitter or better. We either become more mature, or more rooted in our stinking thinking.

Thankfully, by God’s grace, I have learned and continue to learn what it means to become more dependent on God for answers.

Being in the “zone” with God is when circumstances no longer define you. It is experiencing God’s joy and peace in the midst of chaos. It is being able to operate on a level that is not natural, but supernatural.

And, I want to share with you how living for God instead of yourself has tremendous temporal and eternal benefits.

Setting Expectations Well

Not everyone has the picture perfect life. Actually, the majority of us don’t even come close. I certainly fit in this group. But, God does not expect us to live picture perfect lives. Posturing and making it appear as though our lives are picture perfect is often an image we try to maintain. God desires faithfulness, humility, and a heart that can be molded back into His image.(Genesis 1:27)
